M. Freeman & Sons have farmed at Fitzandrews Farm, situated between Great Dunmow and Chelmsford, for four generations. We are still a family run business with brothers Edward and Graham now the senior partners.
In order to provide a sustainable future for the family we began contracting in 1991 and now farm an area of approximately 1800 acres on varying types of contracts.
We have worked hard over the years to provide an efficient, conscientious and professional service. We feel we have acquired an excellent reputation for providing a reliable and timely approach to all aspects of our business.
The farm is a member of The Red Tractor Farm Assurance. M. Freeman and Sons are NAAC registered. The business carries full insurance for its work as contractors and all full time staff are PA1 and PA2 certified and NROSO registered.
We are used to dealing with a varying client base from the large estates to many of the smaller farms in our area, offering a high standard of work to all clients.
With a professional but friendly approach and high quality of work we are able to help maximise your profits and keep contracts running smoothly between us.
The machinery owned by the business is both a full and up to date compliment with regular replacement of the major items. Our machinery policy is to regularly assess machinery requirements and upgrade or increase capacity where required to enable us to provide and maintain a first class service.
We currently have extra capacity for work in all areas so please call to discuss your needs at any time. We can offer very attractive terms on stubble to stubble or full farm contracts but are equally as happy to carry out single operations.
We can offer crop spraying on tramline widths of 12, 24, 32 & 36m with our Bateman RB35 and also high capacity drilling services with our Challenger and 8m Horsch Sprinter drill.
M. Freeman & Sons have developed a strong and very competent contracting business over the years and as a family we pride ourselves on the quality of our work along with providing a personal service to all farmers we carry out work for.
